Not that you can really call it winter as it's been so mild this year, but if a light 4" dusting of snow is the best we are likely to get then might as well get the camera out & make the most of it.
How come everyone else gets snow except where I am from on the south coast? I wanted to make a snowman and run around the garden in bare feet. What do we get? a bit of drizzle
My view of this 'winter' was somewhat tainted by the slow, pretty awful journey up the M40, M42 and M6 yesterday afternoon. Bloody awful, and dangerous due to some unbelievable idiots in cars.
I am still travelling after getting up at 3:45 Gatwick Airport sucks big time at getting planes and baggage sorted. Now having to wait 30 mins for car and then an hour drive.

Thanks for the comments & sorry to you out there who got the traffic chaos downside of today's weather. We in the UK should be (are) terminally embarassed about how easily our country grinds to a halt when we get weather like this when the rest of the world seems to cope with much worse conditions.
We were all raced for snow, having done NY in a blizzard before we knew that theycope so much better than the Brits, but no, no snow since October and everyone's gone Superbowl crazy
