Interesting timing for me, this thread.
I've always worn mine on my right hand - even though I'm predominantly right handed. I've always put this down to the fact my dad is left handed and has his watch on his right. I just copied him when I got my first watch all those years ago.

But, only this week I've been experimenting and trying to keep it on my left all week, to see if I can get used to it. Don't ask me why, but seeing if I can swap sides permanently..
It's taking some time to get used to though! Feels alien.

I'm left handed for writing, right handed for everything else. Have always worn watches on my right wrist, but as I've got more into mechanical watches I've been concerned that I could damage then when doing certain things ( like throwing balls for the dogs :) ). So I'm trying to get used to wearing on the left wrist, but as everyone says it just feels weird and with some watches the crown can dig in. Also, I prefer the view of the "crown side" of the watch when it's on the right wrist.

As a right-hander who has worn a watch in some manner or another since about 10 years old, I used to wear it on the right wrist. Then when I started playing guitar well I moved it to the left wrist, as it was more comfortable and caused less interference with the strings when strumming. The leather tail would slip out of the keeper and catch in the strings at the bridge.

Im day 3 into wrist swap and still find myself going to put it on the other wrist every time. Still feels very weird but do prefer the look of it on the left

I tried the wrist swap once when I damaged my hand playing rugby. It went horribly wrong! All I ended up doing was whacking the crap out of it on every door frame. Ended up wearing a g shock for two weeks to save watch and woodwork!

Left.

Don't know if it's been brought up, but having looked through some of the gallery pics I can't help notice how tight some people wear their watches!

So do people like it tight or a bit looser?

Left handed, left wrist. Both wrists when codriving

Play racquet sports, throwing and shooting left handed but cricket right handed.

Left handed and always worn my watch on the left wrist. I write with my left hand, eat with a knife and fork the 'right' way around, use a computer mouse with my right hand.

Left wrist since childhood. I'm right handed, so it makes it easier to put on.
