What watch suggestions
What watch suggestions
Hello,
Some of you may have noticed it's my birthday today and as such I have a smallish amount of cash to spend, possibly on a watch.
I have some ideas but wanted to see what others may suggest in the price range.
So whether you factor in my taste - I wear my RZE's far more than my CW's - or not, what say you wise people?
Budget is around £1200 - which for me is above what I normally go for...
Thanks in advance for the off the wall suggestions

Re: What watch suggestions
How about something newly released this weekend, that suitably dovetails with your occasion.
The Elliot Brown Holton Auto GMT; EBINOX
It has a hardened case, their new Zulu Alpha strap and at £895 is comfortably within budget.

Re: What watch suggestions
The RZE style to me is pared back but not minimalist, and it has a quite unique design language. So even with minimal cues on a three hand watch you would probably know that it's a RZE.
Aera are a pretty new British brand that I've flagged up before because I love these aspects of their watches. They say their designs are as much about what they leave out as what they include. I love the case design. They have worked hard in a short space of time to put together what I think is a really strong catalogue - Diver, Field, Pilot, chronograph. All of them you would recognise as Aera designs I'd say.
The P-1 pilot just stretches your budget slightly. Might not be as colourful as you'd choose

Within budget yes, I want to like Elliott Brown watches but something always stops me. At 43mm I fear it would be too big for my dainty 6inch wrist too

Not a brand I'd heard of, so thanks for that. They look great too and that dish to the dial edge is lovely!missF wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2024 9:05 am The RZE style to me is pared back but not minimalist, and it has a quite unique design language. Re: What watch suggestions
Really like Circula’s offerings, this is their field watch which comes in many colourways. 40mm D and 46mm L2L. They also do a great dive watch and pilots watch. All very affordable and easily under your budget. Definitely worth a look.
