Roast chicken with all the trimmings... very nice, but not as good as last nights home made pheasant curry - it was magnificent!

Isn't it illegal to cook peasants these days?

Re: What's for dinner?
We stopped cooking peasants in Suffolk a few centuries ago, but if a pheasant files out in front of your car and you kill it, I'm told it is illegal for you to pick it up and take it for your stew pot. But the car behind you can collect it !Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:Isn't it illegal to cook peasants these days?

Lamb is my favourite meat. Oddly, we seldom have it in NZ but have a lambfest on our return.highway62 wrote:Roast lamb

Re: What's for dinner?
Today is the Super Bowl (the championship of that other football), so my buddies and I are having Korean fried chicken from a place called Bonchon (which is Korean for "side-dishes"). I have no idea what Korean fried chicken is supposed to be, but I'm keeping an open mind.
