Actually nowadays it's more like this:

More civilised on the odd occasion I need to go into Central London.

Thought we already established i'm only in my thirties!!! Nah, HOPEFULLY it will be a 911. An early 997 but I wouldn't rule out a 996 turbo at the right price. Not keen on the 996 interior though.

Went to see an old friend in the Midlands a couple of weeks ago, who'd said 'you must come and see my new car' .........turned out to be year old 911 Turbo, and the version that does 0 - 60 in 3.6 secs

I know what you mean about the interiors tho......must say I'm not a big fan of them!!

The local garage where I got mine had an '04 plate 911 (can't remember the model) and it was up for £45k, but I was very underwhelmed when I sat in it :o I'm sure the opposite would have happened as soon as I drove it tho :D

I was offered a nice '89 targa (I think) a few years back for not a lot, but neither had the funds or anywhere to keep it at the time....nice car tho :)

Got an Audi A6 at the mo.
Mine is an R-Class, which I really like. Some say it has a face only its' mother could love, but on the inside it's very comfortable and spacious. The ride is great and it is reasonably quick for a bus!

Funnily enough I was in a B-Class earlier today in a taxi in Germany (virtually all taxis in Germany are Mercs), and I was thinking how much room there is inside considering the exterior dimensions. I'm not a small person and I was quite comfortable in the seat behind the driver. :D

Good to here there's some room in the B Class, I'm 6ft 4 and my wife is 6ft! Will take it for a test drive and report back.

Think the R Class would be too big for us Londoners...

Ah ha!...glad to hear business has picked up then......you'll need more watches!

Now thats a car.

I had 2 x 911 a few years ago when I had some money and was younger.....I had a 1988 911 Turbo,flat nose(incredible car) and sold that for a 996 C2 with an aero kit....looked good,but not a patch on the old turbo.

Village, business is alright! Not sure I am looking at spending 45k on one though. Half that perhaps. If I'm lucky

Oddly enough, I saw a battered old car today, a Nissan something... but with the plate N911CWL! One for Mr Ward to buy perhaps, to stick on his 911, if he has one

How about a good old American Ford F-150 pickup truck? That's me  Makes my Rolex Sea-whatever professional divers watch look great when I'm sporting around in it. That's a counterfiet Rolex, by the way....

This is my new car, got it a couple of weeks back on ebay, it needed a bit of work going to the boot floor which I got do last week at my local garage, and a few bits and bobs doing which I can sort out over the next few weeks.

Looks in very tidy shape Lamppo. How was the ebay buying experience? (Often wondered about buying cars/motor bikes etc on there, but never actually gone for it).
