picked this up about a month ago. just got through the breakin period last week when my wife drove it to ohio. and today was my first chance to really stomp on the gas on the highway and feel that 0-60 in 5.7 seconds go. it feels very different in a CVT transmission because you don't get that gear drop when you stomp on the gas at speed.

Wheels switched today on AK for my Winter Tyre set.

The rims are 7.5J width as opposed to the OE ones that are 8J, so I use a set of 15mm spacers to get them to sit right, from a visual perspective.

@Thegreyman - Cheers, Patrick.

The Alloys are a set of Team Dynamics that I had for around ten years on my Yeti with summer tyres on which, although they were in good condition, I had refurbished and sprayed Graphite (they were silver) two years ago when I got TOYS (my silver Cupra Ateca) and fitted with winter tyres.

I too had been planning to change next week, but my Tyre Pressure Monitor pinged up with a potential puncture on Thursday afternoon so I brought my plans forward; with good reason as it happened (see photo).

NB> Tyres are wet, as I'd just come back from the car wash.

After 20 years of owning Mini three door hatches, I’ve had to accept that growing children fit better in a bigger car. :) This was me heading out for a dog walk this morning. The Volvo is a very different car, but so far I’m loving it. 8)

A very cold and icy one at the moment. Leather seats are great, just not in winter.

Wheels switched yesterday on AK for a new summer set replacing my OE 19" with a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race LTs, also 19" but slightly wider at 8.5J. More importantly, they're around 4.5kg per wheel lighter.

Also popped a new set of Pirelli PZero PZ4 on.

The Continental Winter tyres that I've taken off have covered c.16,500 mike over three seasons and, being down to 3mm-4mm, are shot. :-k :-k

A 57 plate SAAB 9.3 convertible, dealer demo car bought when 18months old with 2000 miles on the clock. Now a 17year old car still with under 50,000 miles on the clock.

@Mikkei4 Nice! I sold my non convertible 93TTID last summer it was 2011 plate so younger than yours, and it had 160,000 miles on the clock so way more than yours. I'd driven a Saab since '07, loved 'em. The 93 was running in to repeat problems with the EGR, I'd also had the injectors replaced plus various other bits of work that was starting to add up. In the end I let her go and bought a much newer BMW 420 Grandcoupe. I have a lot of happy memories driving Saab's, great cars with that bit of panache and uniqueness. Shame they stopped making them.

That’s a very nice example. Mines an 05 plate with 150000 on the clock.
