Been listening to this on repeat all morning - David Gilmour just effortlessly playing us all the guitar-type instruments like a god

This great song, I remember buying the 7 inch on green vinyl the week it was released (back in 1979  )

^^^^ @Thegreyman

It was about that time c.1980 that I saw The Police live in concert at the Phillips Halle(?) in Koln, Patrick. Maybe on the same Tour as the video. :-k :-k

I was stationed in Munster at the time and drove down; had a Lancia Beta HPE 1600. Stood at the back of the arena.

Considering how, these days, we go onto the Internet to buy tickets, I can't recall how I managed to get a ticket, but I did. The one point I do recall is the thump of Sting's Bass coursing through my body.

Wow Guy that must have been a great gig to have been at. I guess you maybe don’t appreciate at the time what a legendary band you are witnessing. Yes how did we manage to do anything before internet/smart phones, hard to remember Image

Mainly flicking between my Calm meditation app and Jazz FM. It’s been that kind of week. Would have been listening to Darius Rucker at the O2 Academy on Tuesday but I had a clash and couldn’t go <sad face>

Picked up a track off Eric Clapton's 'To Save a Child' live concert album, recorded last December, on Spotify's Release Radar for me today.

Now listening to the full album.

Clapton is like a fine wine, he just seems to get better with age and is playing some of his finest Blues.

Listening to the new Frank Turner album that was released on Friday, I bought the standard and the deluxe signed version of it on vinyl.

Yesterday I went to see him on his world record attempt to play 15 gigs in different cities in 24 hours. He started in Liverpool at midday and finished in Southampton earlier today. I know Huddersfield where I saw him isn’t actually a city, but for the purposes of the world record a city is classed as anywhere with a population above 15,000. Gigs had to be at least 15 minutes to count but he played for 30 minutes in each venue and broke the record which was previously 10 gigs in 24 hours.

I was knackered just watching him, I don’t know how he managed to keep up his energy for 24 hours.

I'm watching and listening to the Eurosport coverage of the Giro, where Tadej Pogacar has just set out on his TT of 40k.

Been a terrific tour thus far. Forza Tadej ;D
