I'm not a Chelsea fan (lifelong Potter!) but one of my oldest and dearest friends and colleagues (our deputy head) was at the Allianz tonight. We've been giving each other stick about football and many other things for 22 years, and I'm thrilled for him. So again I say...
WELL DONE CHELSEA!!

Re: WELL DONE CHELSEA!
It wasn't that exciting.....Bayern attacked...Chelsea defended....Bayern attacked....Chelsea defended (repeat a few dozen times)..Bayern kept missing very good chances.....Bayern eventually scored....Chelsea had to attack...everyone wondered why Torres gets paid a lot of money to keep losing the ball..everyone pussyfooted around waiting for penalties....the Germans blinked first.footycrazy wrote:Yes, very well done chelsea. That aside i think that DiMatteo has come up with just about the best job application ever
And yes,well done Chelsea.......love from a Gooner
As an aside,is it just me that thinks Drogba is so frustrating? One moment he is falling like a sack of spuds or having histrionics, the next thing he is scoring a goal of sublime brilliance.
If you can read this you are too close to your computer screen....

Not sure which I like less, Drogba or Chelsea. Drogba however does come up with the goods when required (Like him or not) And Chelsea did what they needed to do and won.
Well done to them.
Well done to them.

Re: WELL DONE CHELSEA!
Been busy all day so coming to this after all the excitement has died down. I thought CFC rode their luck but no more than WHUFC in their rather lower key game against Blackpool. Bayern's problem is they don't have a striker and that was Chelsea's good fortune but take nothing away from an historic win and on Bayern's home ground to boot. So well done you Blues and sorry Scooter, you'll just have to hope Spurs finish 3rd next year.
