For a tailgate?
I know!

Forgive the transgression of the three word rule, and the migration towards the curmudgeons corner, but FFS! The car was parked. It got hit by a reversing dustbin wagon. It's an '08 plate in good nick and now they say it's beyond economical repair!

I reckon it's a big scam. They write it off... claim against the other insurance... give my daughter a miserable settlement fee which won't come close to paying for a replacement.. and then sell the 'write off' to some chancer who sticks a new rear door on it and flogs it on ebay for several thousand!

Bloody hell!

Waiting for settlement....

And in a further rule-break... the problem is, she needs a car for work...they gave her a hire car, but for sure, they'll want it back asap - and they use that pressure to get you to accept a miserable settlement. It's a bloody con, I tell you!
