Wonder what happened to the concept of "overdrive"...
I remember that on my dads Triumph 2500TC (I think its the right model- was a loooooong time ago).
We also had a couple of P6 3500 V8 Rovers and a Daimler mk2 2.8L straight 6 (again, memory is a bit wooly on the accuracy) and a 1980 slab front Granada estate with the 3L engine and a bonnet the size of a large dinner table.
This might explain where i got my interest in slightly oddball cars over the years
So many watches, yet still so little time!

One thing I didn't have was the bulb holder for the back of it.
I found one on eBay with a bulb and the wiring so it will be great to get the light working on it too hopefully.
