STOLEN - 1971 Heuer Carrera Chronograph Cal. 12

Post by Bahnstormer_vRS »

A shout out on behalf of James at Kibble Watches, primarily for our USA / Canadian members.

He posted this in his WhatsApp Broadcast List today about a watch he was shipping to a buyer:-

1971 Heuer Carrera Chronograph Cal. 12 on Gay Frères Heuer signed Beads of Rice Bracelet
Reference - 1153
Serial - 220324

Last known location - Washington DC (USA)
DHL Express has admitted to the parcel being "Lost," but with insufficient evidence of any actual delivery and information I currently have it's safe to assume the parcel has been stolen by the DHL Driver or someone at a service depot, unfortunately, we will likely never know.

Please keep an eye out if this watch is offered to you or you see it offered online. It is a perfect example and can't be missed! Please inform me immediately!

What a glorious watch! This is such a shame for the two parties involved in the sale, not to mention a very costly exercise. Sickening really.

Does melancholy count as two of your five daily servings?

Hopefully this watch is spotted and returned to the rightful owner.

A colleague has just returned from holidaying in Argentina and unfortunately had his Tag Heuer Monza 40th Anniversary watch ripped from his wrist in Buenos Aires. Insured but still a bit of a traumatic incident for him.
