The “Where’s My Watch?” Game

Post by Amor Vincit Omnia »

Games don’t seem to last too long on the forum these days, but I do enjoy them!

So let’s try this one – it’s extremely simple. Take a picture of your watch on top of an image of some famous place (please don’t make it too difficult) and see if people can guess where the location in the photo is.

No need to take turns over this, just post photos or answers whenever you want to. It’ll probably be chaotic but it could be fun.

If you happen to have a recognisable live-action watch shot taken on location, by all means put it in.

Here’s the one of my UN that I posted this morning.

I remember first seeing this building in a lonely planet guide book and was intrigued to find out what it was.

This photo is obviously from another book I have rather than a photo I took.

It is, Iain, and I reckon yours is the great mosque in Djenné, Mali.

Oh, and I altered the top post!

That’s a grand mosque in Spain. Granada maybe? Or perhaps Cordoba? Definitely Spain though.

Definitely in West Africa. A mosque in Mali? Perhaps Timbuktu?

Steve was right, mine is the great mosque in Djenne, Mali. I think it’s the largest mud structure in the world.

I noticed you’d changed your opening post, good job I quoted your text or I’d have looked like a right fool....
