^^^ If it's where I think, I went there once as a child for the first and last time.

Yep Lands End.
Wondering how planning permission was ever given for the amusement park bits!

Local Hero immediately came to mind for me too, although I know that’s not right.StrapMeister wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 6:12 pm My first thought was Pennan (Film: Local Hero) but the location doesn't look right!

Steve, looking at those prayer flags I would say it’s somewhere in Tibet but I don’t recognise that hill in the background

Well, it’s not Rongbuk or Tengboche, and it’s not Everest. But you probably knew that.

Re: The “Where’s My Watch?” Game
Well there have been very few comments in my photo so it’s time for a clue to get you thinking. Hemingway has been the only mention so far, which I take as a reference to somewhere tropical around Florida or the Caribbean? Yes it’s tropical but is probably the opposite side of the world.
However I don’t think you’ll just guess the location without working it out from the clues in the photograph so here’s clue number 1.
That anchor isn’t any old anchor. It’s from a well known ship. This ship is linked to this place and if you guess the ship, you’ll be able to work out the place.
I won’t comment further if anyone wants to just post their thoughts, but I will say if you get it right. However if you’re no nearer then I’ll post another clue tomorrow.
