Big Eye: The derogatory and abusive name Sinbad and his men used for the Cyclops on the island Colossus. " You want a piece of me, Big Eye? I'll open you up like a chest of gold pieces!"

As a surprised Poseidon said to Thoösa in the maternity ward, “What’s the Big-Eye, dear?”

The Time Zone - a place between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and lying between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. Traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Often encountered looking through the windows of a Rolex distributor.

^^ ^^ That's very profound. Kind of Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness. Maybe even Franz Kafka. It's definitely deep.

^^ Not in the least Des- it's simple and puerile and a total parody of 'The Twilight Zone'.

Ah, I wracked what’s left of my brain thinking where I’d heard that before. Now it all makes sense . 😂🙌

Footsee- an inadvertent inclusion of one's toed extremity when taking a wrist-shot photo, made all the worse by unsightly toenail conditions, poorly maintained socks or those ratty old tartan slippers you've been meaning to throw out for the last year.

Dial furniture: A posh leather armchair provided by an AD for which you can ensconce yourself in whilst staring adoringly at prospective watch purchases.

Footsee Index - as above, but the feet are correctly aligned with the watch dial and the toes point to either 10:10 or 1:50.

Half time: When there still remains 50% vacant occupancy in your box.

Full time: When your watch box has all compartments taken.

Extra time: Silly you, you've bought that watch and now you don't have space for it.

Sudden death extra time: That heart stopping moment you experience when you realise your other half has noticed there's a new addition to your box.

Penalties: Generally imposed by the partner of the person experiencing SDET (see above). Often menial tasks like cleaning grout with a toothbrush or tidying the attic. Designed to make you consider your latest purchase and not repeat.
