The new bracelets look good and at the time CWL would do them at the old price so a bit of a saving and it is always cheaper to buy leather straps afterwards.CornishDave wrote:Very nice. Just wondering did everybody go foir the bracelet version?

About 90% were originally ordered with bracelets. Not surprising considering that it's a diver.CornishDave wrote:Very nice. Just wondering did everybody go foir the bracelet version?

Nice one Jag. I think it suits your partners wrist better- at least she has it on the right wrist!

Liking your approach- very bohemian. Let me just try that for a sec... hold on... nope. Wearing my trident on my right, that is my wrong, wrist just feels odd. All of a sudden, my right arm seems attracted to all sorts of dink and scuff makers.JAG wrote:I wear a piece on what ever arm takes my fancy that day i didnt realise there was a set rule to what arm it goes on but since taking that picture the BEZEL has been aligned "as some people suffer from to much OCD" and it has been on & off both wristsjmarchitect wrote:Nice one Jag. Anyway, I thought the bezel position looked fine. Was it out by a smidgen in your pics?

I ordered mine with the brown strap. I was informed those provided were unacceptable to the CWL QC team. So I ordered mine with the bracelet instead. But don't worry, I'll be trying both versions on straps .CornishDave wrote:Very nice. Just wondering did everybody go foir the bracelet version?

Re: The Red Fle 2012 it's not just his
I have just ordered a RED FLE after putting my name down on the waiting list. To be honest I cant understand some of the comments. I saw a vintage Swiss watch with a red dial a while back and loved it so was very keen on getting a watch with a red dial. looking forward to it arriving and posting a review/pictures very soon.

I am with you on that one. I thought that we all agreed ages ago to drop the names and just refer to them as Blue and Red.JAG wrote:C60 FLE Red (I dislike the names thing)
Red is not for me but it is a good looking watch for those that like red dials. I saw one when I was at CWL HQ and it looked very nice.
Tell them it has links to a Vauxhall Astra or Nissan Micra and see what they say.JAG wrote:'does it have something to do with Ferrari
Just take the video with no words but just some cheesey music in the background. Or get Mrs J to do the speaking.JAG wrote:As for a video, yes I could but my voice wouldn’t allow - lol.

Re: The Red Fle 2012 it's not just his
I have had my red FLE on the wrist since saturday morning. After getting over the initial 'I've got a new watch!' excitement, I have had time to reflect on the wisdom, or otherwise, of this purchase. As someone that did follow the decision making process through from start to finish, I will admit that at several times I found myself thinking I would prefer the blue but found myself voting for red. When push came to shove, I ordered red as that is what I had voted for. I sold my C1 to help fund the purchase. I really liked my C1. I knew I wouldn't be able to buy another new C1. So for me it was a really big deal. Right now I am pleased by my decisions and am growing to really appreciate my new red FLE. The fact it is keeping almost ( a few seconds) perfect time straight out of the box, is a useful and reassuring bonus. So far, all comments have been positive from those that have noticed. A happy owner, I guess.
