Wow, quite a few suggestions put forward here so thanks to all those who took the time to search out a watch for me. I’m sure there must be someone out there who would want to wear that skeleton dial frost AP. I’m afraid I don’t know who that would be.....

In order to help me narrow down my selection I’m going to refer back to Steve’s opening post and this part in particular

Amazingly, Bjorn has somehow merged these into one watch and come so close to perfection that it’s uncanny. Only the gold case would put me off (Steve was right with that comment). Therefore I’m going to have to choose this as the winner.

However, as Bjorn has already won, the rule is that I must choose someone else to have a lottery watch chosen. So going back to the brief quoted above and it has to be Guy with the IWC pilot chronograph. I’d just need to swap out that aquamarine strap first.

Well done everyone and it’s now over to you all to choose Guy a watch.

Now Guy likes his watches big and he likes a tool watch, so there’s no 36mm polished gold dress watch here.

He has such a large and varied collection it’s also difficult to pin down a preferred style. However the two most prized watches he owns are both pilot chronographs in his Breguet and the CW monopusher pilot bought to commemorate someone special.

Therefore I’m going big and going pilot chronograph with this El Primero powered 45mm Zenith.


Or alternatively the IWC big pilot monopusher I had in mind for myself.

In keeping with the large watch and chronograph theme, I will try introducing Guy to one of my favourite brands – as he knows!

The Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronograph, 43mm, also incorporates an annual calendar.

I could see Guy rocking something like this 44mm flying tourbillon from AP
