I’m going for a simple classic – Royal Oak in blue.

I'll go with this rose gold Gronefeld Principia auto. Elegant, yet with a modern, sporty(ish) twist that may suit Stephen's tastes me thinks.

Re: The Lottery Watch Game
Some lovely options thank you and I'm a bit torn... Bjorn nearly pulled it out of the bag again, if it had been the blue Ferrier Sport Auto with green lumed teardrop markers it would have definitely clinched it. Atnits monza option was inspired but I had one briefly a few years ago and whilst it ticks so many boxes I didn't wear it enough.
As it is Im going a little more predictable based on the choices available, despite telling myself no more chronos and no more Autavias Iain takes the win for that lovely first gen Autavia. It just speaks to me and would satisfy the vintage itch but in a nice wearable size.

Re: The Lottery Watch Game
Thank you, Stephen – a very sane choice made with your feet on the ground.
Thanks to all who have contributed so far and let’s bombard Iain with some lovely things.

Thanks Stephen, I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up with for me. Let’s see those suggestions coming in.
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Re: The Lottery Watch Game
Iain’s recent SOTC reveals a small but very high quality collection, with a particular fondness for IWC and a liking for chronographs.
It’s also a no-nonsense collection, so I’m going to respect that in selecting something a little more dressy and with a nice complication, but certainly not loud and lairy. JLC Master Control Calendar. I don’t see him as a man for gold, so I’ve gone for the SS Blue dial version.

Re: The Lottery Watch Game
^^^^ I'm going in the other direction to Steve for you Iain by sticking with the tried and trusted brand, IWC, but bringing a bit of pizazz in with an unmistakable pop of colour on the:-
IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 Edition "Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team".
A suitable, for Iain, 41mm titanium case and classic Pilot Chronograph design.
Here's an introductory write up by Hodinkee.

Re: The Lottery Watch Game
I'll go somewhere between Guy and Steves suggestions with this. Integrated sports watch, chrono but simple and different.

Re: The Lottery Watch Game
For Iain I’ll suggest the «IWC Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” Ref. IW392202 in 18-Carat 5N Gold With A Spectacular Midnight Blue Dial.»

Re: The Lottery Watch Game
I’ll give this another day or so to allow time to put the nominations forwards for anyone still trying to decide what to suggest.
Some good ones so far which may be tough to beat.
