Just watched the apprentice. I can't believe how Sir Alan arrived at his decision. It's like the greyhound racing in a betting shop.

Trap 1 from 2, round the bend, trap 5 making ground, 1 from 5, trap 6 coming round the outside, into the final straight, trap 3 the winner. Familiar to anyone? :D

Having been diagnosed as having pneumonia and then being told it is no worse than just having a little cold and shame on me for being off work with it

Not the best of days, xenophobia is very much alive and presenting an unwelcome challenge.

Why don't mobile phone companies put a decent screen protector on phones. Maybe they aren't needed, but I just tried to fit one, and there was a tiny bit of dust under it. Sods law, as soon as you try to adjust it, it becomes worse. If Motorola did it, it would fit correctly, and I wouldn't have to do it.

How does this work? In my head a company/person etc approach Instagram and say we’d like to advertise on your platform and say yes it will cost $??? The advert then gets submitted and surely someone looks at it and then either approves it or declines it. How can it get through and then I have to flag it. Grrrrrrr

This weekend it was to be my youngest grandson’s birthday celebration beginning with a GOALS party and the following day a trip to Chessington Zoo with his cousins and friends. Unfortunately, his mummy and daddy have tested positive and are feeling poorly. My wife and I have COVID too and it’s been a battle. We will be rescheduling but it’s a huge disappointment for him.

Started to feel unwell on the 8th and today the 14th I’m still testing positive for COVID. Feeling absolutely rubbish. At this rate I can’t see myself attending the WatchIt! Fair.

Can't do right for doing wrong.

Anyone who 'knows' me at all will know my intention in 'The Welome' thread and will understand entirely what my post was about.

I'm taking a break from posting here and quite frankly may not return.

As much as I want to watch Man City to beat Arsenal tonight, I cant stand the City Manager !
What Pep Guardiola does with his saliva is disgusting and it's getting worse.

I just spent 2 minutes looking at a glossy ad for the Fiat 500 all electric. Why didn't it say how much the damn car costs? :D

Is it too much to ask of a Rolex AD to, perhaps, ensure that your brand new £16k Skydweller is actually running with the correct date set when you turn up to collect it, after waiting for two years for it and they called you TWO HOURS EARLIER to state it was ‘ready for collection?’ A quick wipe with a cloth to get the fingerprints off the clasp and bracelet would have been nice too! Not impressed.
