That feeling of excitement when a big heavy box arrives....

Post by tikkathree »

If ever you've bought a watch which was important to you you'll remember the feeling.

If ever you've ever been gifted a watch by a loved one, you'll remember the feeling.

I've just been witness to one such moment and was delighted to see the joy and excitement it caused.

I think you guys might enjoy it too so, ladies and gentlemen, I give you the moment when a laid back, calm and chilled out watch "influencer" loses it: Jenni Elle receives a Rolex....

Oh good man! Thank you for the visual. Honestly I found that so enjoyable: none of that "seen it all before" blase lack of emotion.

That’s was wonderful to watch. Such emotion! Thanks for sharing.

And her discussion of the Rolex OP was great too. I think if I ever got a Rolex, it would be a 36mm OP. I like to think of my C65 Trident Vintage as a poor man’s OP.

I should hope so. She should have taken him out and treated him to a fillet steak with a fine claret and oh you didn't mean that did you?

I would cry and swear in German too if someone gave me a surprise like that for my birthday!

That was genuine joy and nice to watch. I do like that white OP36 having been tempted by a white OP39 114300 in the past.

Yes, so would I be, especially if I was expecting a Kindle!

I even got a bit misty for her, if we’re being honest.

The internet needs more of this, and less scripted paid "reviews" masquerading as real content. I love seeing someone whose career is built on watches get this excited to get something this special. Jenni was already one of my favourites, and this just reinforces my opinion of her.
