I really found it interesting how we never saw anyone carrying an umbrella.....and then when it rained they magically appeared.
Are they something you have surgically attached to your arms?
Thanks to the UK

Glad you enjoyed your trip. Amazed you saw the sun (Usually not visible until April) As for the umbrellas, we have developed a 6th sense to know when its going to rain heavily enough to require an umbrella. That is of course if you live in the sissy south of England in the north we tend not to bother and are hard pressed to put a coat on

I'm glad that you and your good lady enjoyed your extended stay. It's a shame that the hotel in Marlow that Wera had initially lined up ( a rather nice one) would not play ball regarding the focus group meeting and demanded too many 'guaranteed overnights'... still.... you got to Windsor, London and enjoyed proper English 10/10 overcast - let us know when you're coming back, but make it Summer (UK summer: July 27th to August 2nd or thereabouts) next time.

Our weather isn't good, but it's tame compared to what he avoided back home
Don't think too many people were bothering with umbrellas in New York!
