Super Bowl XLVII - who's your money on?

Post by Amor Vincit Omnia »

Anyone else interested in American football? I've always enjoyed it, though I must admit that these days I tend to record the game rather than stay up to watch it live.

So now that my no. 1 team (Green Bay) is out of the running I'll be supporting my no. 2, the Patriots. After losing in last year's Super Bowl, let's hope they can go one better.

Who do you favour?

As a Brit I thoroughly enjoy watching it on skysports. The interest started in '94 from playing John Madden on the Sega mega drive. And I kinda know the rules, too!
Patriots for me!

The Patriots are the obvious favorite in my household.

I am hoping for a Patriots/Seahawks Super Bowl. I think that this would be the best all around game.

I'm hoping for a 49ers win as I've supported them for 25 years but I suspect Kip might be right in his Patriots / Seahawks prediction...

Used to follow way back when it was on Channel 4!
A bit out of touch now, was an Eagles fan but also liked 49ers though that was when Montana was QB!

Superbowl???

Now, thats the 'sport' that you lot play over there that is a sort of a copy of the original game of Rugby that we play over here, but unlike here, your big tough guys wear lots of padded protective clothing in case they get hurt.......right???

Nah............dont watch it!!

Always followed the Miami Dolphins as a kid but think it will be many years before they reach a SuperBowl again. Have a bit of a feeling for the Ravens after their mammoth match.
