Interesting stress on MUST, not sure anyone has suggested that!
No, that was my own emphasis and probably I should have written "If they must....".
I felt the only way to prevent the off topic comments, that some replies had said break up threads, would for it to be a "must" and thus be another restriction on what or how members contribute to posts.
The OP was made ten days before I rejoined the forum and that was on the 25th March. During this short period I have found the forum to be on the whole welcoming but it’s nothing like the one I left over two years ago. I guess the most striking difference for me is that, in the majority, posts relate to other brands. Also, seemingly there are a number of familiar names now missing.

This has been a fantastic thread and much of what I have personally thought has already been said so I will keep it short-ish. I discovered CWL and the forum in 2014....lurked for awhile before posting if I remember correctly. I've owned from MK 1 Trident through the Mk 2, Mk 2 & 3 Malverns, Single Pusher, C8 PR, etc. Do I prefer the new or old logo? Well to be honest it depends on the watch. I like the new one on the 2017 FLE and C8 PR....not so much on the Trident.
I have a few over 250 post....since 2014. Well, I just don't feel like I should post if I don't feel like I have anything worth saying. Also, there have been periods where I just take a break....such as when the vast majority of the conversation is bashing the new logo/company endlessly. It just doesn't do anything to make this a place to want to read/share. Criticism is good, endless bashing isn't. I agree that on some models the new logo leave much to be desired, on others I think it is fine. That doesn't mean I want to have tons of negativity.
Just my thoughts, I will keep tuning in and sharing thoughts as I feel I should. But like some have said, if we want a positive welcoming place then that is what we need to foster. Be positive about your old logo watches, be positive about your new logo watches, and healthy criticism is good then move on.
