^^I always have the same issues..

Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Try cropping your photos a fraction before posting.Deks wrote:so why the heck is it sideways?
From what I have read, as I've not experienced the issue myself, the Forum software has issues identifying photos that are not rectangular enough, and getting it wrong when deciding to post them as Portrait or Landscape.
By cropping them to being more rectangular (mine are always in 16:9 ratio) the Forum software gets it right.
I hope I've got this correct and that it helps, Mike.

Whereas before the ‘forum upgrade’ I could post a portrait photo now I too have to crop, otherwise the photograph appears at 90 degrees.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 7:11 am

Re: Show your pet!
It's not so much whether the photo is Portrait or Landscape it is the aspect ratio being too 'Square' that makes the software indecisive.Richard D wrote:Whereas before the ‘forum upgrade’ I could post a portrait photo now I too have to crop, otherwise the photograph appears at 90 degrees.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 7:11 am

Get hip and go more 'Rectangular' i.e. 16:9.

I can happily post portrait photos (although I prefer landscape). QED;-
