Asleep in the undergrowth. A crowd of angry birds in the tree above him, and he was oblivious.
He woke up a little bit when I looked in...

Not much though...

Ernie, rescue cat from the RSPCA, very damaged, 1 leg and scapula amputated (won't grow back), lots of broken ribs (can still feel the bumps), tail broken in 2 places, so doesn't work properly, broken sacrum, so walks a bit funny but still gets the zoomies. Was in the animal hospital; for 2.5 months nearly put to sleep twice, but he came through.
Very drooly cat when happy (and he is often happy), hence the cloth....to mop it up and stop the keyboard getting soaked. Amazingly affectionate little tripod cat in his favourite place on my desk.

Love that photo and he looks to have finally landed with some good luck. Can he jump up on the desk on his own or do you have to lift him up?DavecUK wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 4:19 pm Ernie, rescue cat from the RSPCA, very damaged, 1 leg and scapula amputated (won't grow back), lots of broken ribs (can still feel the bumps), tail broken in 2 places, so doesn't work properly, broken sacrum, so walks a bit funny but still gets the zoomies. Re: Show your pet!
I think i'm the lucky one, my previous rescue cat Eddie (was blind from birth and had had both eyes removed), died of cancer, he didn't quite make 7, I was very attached to him and him to me. Ernie has helped fill that hurt a lot. He will never replace Eddie, but he is is own little personality.
He can jump to the desk on his own and takes the most difficult route, it's his front leg that's missing and sometimes his reach does exceed his grasp.

Great looking dogs and they certainly seem to enjoy the water.
