My 18 year old budgie JoJo died today, ok not the most glamorous of pets but he was such a character. Amazing how attached we get to our pets.

Genuinely sorry to hear the news Richard.

18yrs is one hell of an age for a budgie! (Actually thats one hell of an age for most pets!!) Will have a drinkie to old Jo Jo tonight. You are so right about the impact our animsl companions have on our lives.

The loss of a family member always hurts. It doesn't matter whether they are glamorous or not. They are part of the family and we love them.
