Show your pet!

Parker is. as a whippet, capable of considerable speed. Here you can see him in his preferred mode.

Re: Show your pet!
I may have the most unique breed mix here. This is Jake, he's a dachshund pittie mix. He did not have a good first owner and he was in the shelter for a long time, so he has some issues, but we're working through them! He's long and low
built like a tube of ground beef!

Re: Show your pet!
Today Neo ate a handful of grapes.
I'm so embarrassed as a dog owner
.
Vet said ' bring him in - we'll make him sick'
Neo was completely indignant with the whole thing and felt miserable after the being sick part. Didn't even make it to the sofa back home before he did a full swoon on the floor (greyhounds are known for drama) and flaked out for two hours.
He's fine now

Re: Show your pet!
I lost my sweet Kiera kitty a month ago. It was a painful loss. This cat had been with me for the last 16 years; through the end of college, a failed engagement to my high school sweetheart, moving across the country several times (Florida to Massachusetts to Michigan to Florida and back to Michigan), and through meeting my wife and the births of both my kids.
I’d adopted her along with her brother, Leo, who passed 3 years ago. She missed him, and I can see them cuddling happily in kitty heaven.

So sorry Alex - you must be missing her so badly. What an incredible life they both lived with you. What a bank of memories you'll always have to call on.

Re: Show your pet!
@ajax87 - Heartfelt condolences Alex.
Having lost Davie, my Greyhound, this time last year, I have an inkling of how you must be feeling.
We all think that dogs and cats are only a pet, but in reality they are often much more to the point of being a family member. I'm sure your wife and kids will be missing Kiera as well.
My thoughts are with you.

Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Re: Show your pet!
Thanks for the kind words everyone
@missF I've been there with my pup. I’m glad Neo is resting up, he’ll be right as rain in no time.
