Pretty major greyhound drama and situation of great peril played itself out here past 48hrs. We’re good now. It was the sort of drama that only a greyhound could get himself involved in - I try to live a fairly calm existence and he is my atom of chaos (everyone needs one)…

Just got home from work.
Its a fine day and the roads are pretty dry. My plan was to take the bike for a blast as ive just finished a tonne of mods.

As I walked in the front room, my big stupid dog was jumping about, all giddy as they do. My lads dog is usually twice as giddy as her, as hes not quite 2yrs old yet.

Ever get the feeling something has happened and someone is crap at hiding whos responsible.......?

Walked in the kitchen to find my lid on the floor and "someone" has chewed one of my winter bike gloves.
Went upstairs for a shower before I totally lost the plot.

Having calmed down slightly, ive ordered a new pair of gloves but now need to go lid shopping. Less than thrilled that a £500 lid is now an ornament.
Luckily I have a few lids so im off for a long ride out to calm down....

(Oh the grey board on the sofa is to stop the dogs going on it! My dog sheds 6 tonne of hair a day!)

I’ve been telling neo over the past few days that he’s going to the vet soon to get his teeth sorted. He’s booked in for dental under anaesthetic today.
He’s calm about this - he understands the words, he’s good with going to the vet. He’s been in a lot of pain past few weeks.
So he’s been good with it all.
Until I told him this morning that he’s not getting any breakfast….

Crunchie had a dental last week, cost me £390 but her breath is much nicer now so it was worth it! Then on Monday she has either sprained her back, or might even have a partially slipped disc. Yesterday was another trip to the Dog Doctor, an injection and a bottle of Metacam and I'm another £110 down. Oh well, thats my new CW I was promising myself after Christmas shelved for now!

That’s Mikey, a cat saved from the streets of Bulgaria.

And that’s his sister Emma, both had lost some portion of their eyesight, because of an infection as kittens. But they are fine now.
