Thanks for your comments.

Davie is a placid soul around the house, as are most Greyhounds, but he's nearly 14yo (which I'm told is amazing for a Greyhound) and has slowed down notably in recent months; mostly due to arthritis in his hind quarters.

It was therefore quite easy to push his nose away from the sandwich. :wink: :wink:
