Congratulations on the new arrival. From what I have heard it is easier to be a grandparent than a parent. You get to see them but hand them back at the end of the visit.
I am curious about the name Graeson Paolo. Where does that come from?

Re: Proud New Grandfather!!
I am told that Graeson was chosen because the parents liked it and it is of English/Irish origin. Paolo is the name of my daughter in laws father, originally from Argentina.

Re: Proud New Grandfather!!
A quick etymological search shows it as a rare variant of Grayson - not surprisingly.
Not, however, "son of a grey (haired) one"...
...But "son of a steward" (O.E. graeve) - this appears in German as "Graf". The title was originally given to stewards of castles, land, etc.
Markgraf and Landgraf were military titles in medieval Germany that eventually led to ennoblement.
The English translation: "Margrave", "Landgrave".
The former would equate to "Marcher Lord" - or one charged with holding a March or frontier.

Lol, excellent Kip. Good to see you are showing him the correct wrist on which to wear a watch!
