So you went for the Skyhawk-lite!

Congratulations on making a difficult decision - knowing you want a watch but not which one must be tough with all that choice out there. I'll be interested to see what the carbon fibre bezel looks like in real people's photos.

fwiw I have no axe to grind on quartz, ana-digi (or digi for that matter). Custom fit bracelets can ruin otherwise good watches - but as long as the bracelet is a decent quality and can be comfortably sized, I don't see a problem.

Downer, I'll try and remember to take my Speedbird to the gtg, if you make it down I'll try to convert you.

Amazon say "Case diameter: 45 millimeters"

Its certainly different than the Speedbird!

If you're going for a quartz, may as well go for one that does everything, I've always had a soft spot for ana/dig dials ever since my first casio about 25 years ago :D

Look forward to the review :)

I can see what you mean with the "one watch guy" watch thing, but...no, I have no plans to bail (bale?) out, and I would not imagine wearing this watch every day, even though it probably covers all the "needs" I have.

Having said that, I have been thinking of having a bit of a clear out one of these days. I may even sell one or two autos!
