Out walking the dog this morning
...just as well, otherwise I know what I would have been having for dinner tonight.
That's a Pheasant and a Rabbit in the field
Ryder, being a Greyhound and thus a sight hound, was muzzled and on a lead...just as well, otherwise I know what I would have been having for dinner tonight.

Here's my ride, known as the ugly black duck!
Its a Giant Revolt 1 (2015) or 'Revolting' as its sometimes referred to on looks alone
Due to children, time and motivation spent most of its early life in the garage but is now regularly pressed into all sorts of use. Its a go anywhere (ish) bike, bit like a cyclocross or what the Americans call a Gravel Grinder. Used on woodland trails, roads, towpaths, etc.. I love it!

OK, if we’re posting bike pics...

The Hardrock must now be 20+ years old but is still a great ride. I’m pondering whether to convert it to electric
The folder was new last year and gets thrown in the car, although it’s currently unavailable as it’s in lockdown in our caravan.

No bicycles or motorcycle for me, just out walking my greyhound, Davie. Always on a lead as if he ran off, I'm not sure he'd come back.

Photos taken on Thursday and today. The Motorway is the A1(M) on Thursday around 10:00. Normally it would be nose to tail on both carriageways, doing no more than 50-60 mph.

Lovely spot Patrick.
I hope you obtained a model release before publishing the last pic
Were either of them wearing a CW by any chance? Or these days, even a watch?

Gary, no I didn’t get their permission. I’m sure they won’t mind though! Yes my wife wears her W11 Amelia a lot and was yesterday.gaf1958 wrote:Lovely spot Patrick.

Daughter wears a Michael Kors watch although it does have a nice blue dial, similar colour to my pastel blue Halios.

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride
Spring has been quite late this year, but it arrived with a vengeance today. With the thermometer reaching 21 today, I had to get out for a ride. I bought my new full suspension bike last fall, the day before it snowed 6 inches, so I haven't really ridden it yet. Although the trails are still too icy/wet/muddy to ride, it was still nice to get out and put some miles on it. There is still ice on the river, and absolutely nothing is green yet, but it FELT like spring, even if it didn't look like it.

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride
Went for a 27mile peddle out yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I tend to travel the same old lanes but never tire of the scenery. Thought I’d capture some of the views for you this time.
Intended to caption the pics in some sort of order but having tried various ways of loading them, they just have a mind of their own.
They depict various shots from around the River Severn & the Gloucester to Sharpness Canal, taking in Saul Junction and Frampton. Frampton has one of, if not the, longest village greens in England, with Rosamundes Green.
