Took this photograph on my early evening electric bike ride.
You can make out Westbury White Horse in the background.

I did the "White Horse Way" walk a couple of years back. It's a 100 mile circular walk, taking in each of the nags, up close and personal. We did it in 10 mile or so chunks, over the year, starting with the Westbury Horse. Lovely scenery!

I just checked out The White Horse Way route and would imagine that to be very interesting and scenic.
A good idea to break it down into smaller segments.

I rode along Cycle Route 24 alongside the disused railway line this evening.
The Radstock to Frome railway line first opened in 1854 to coal traffic, and to passengers a year later. It closed to passengers in 1959, but survived serving freight and the wagon works at Radstock until 1988.
On a local point I am happy to say that I rode through Coleford and lived to tell the tale.

Stan's ears (a 27 year old Halflinger) in the foreground, on this occasion I had to walk point with Dave and Lottie as my stepdaughter was riding Gypsy (matron).

A rather warm 30 miler today. Just south of Frampton on the Gloucester to Sharpness Canal.

The first two photographs are of the same farmhouse at Stourton.
The first comes from The AA Illustrated Guide to Britain (1971) and the second I took today.

Nice photos Steve and Scooter.
I'm getting jealous seeing you guys out on your bikes on a lovely sunny day when stuck here in the office

If it helps, I’ll be spending the next 3 days stuck in a very warm steam boiler house! Still, I’m counting my blessings as it would normally be 5. Start my holibobs on Sat,
Steve.

From my part, I'm happy to say that if the sun's shining I'll be out there on the Focus or The Monkey.
I've done my work stint.
