Re: Pics from the walkers
Lovely cliff top walk between Weybourne and Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast. Bit of a sea-fret early on so it was cool and misty.

Re: Pics from the walkers
Stumbled across this happy family whilst out walking the dog this morning.

Re: Pics from the walkers
A few from a recent trip to the Lake District. Although I am not sure that travelling back home on a bank holiday Friday was the smartest move.
An evening view of a favourite ridge walk. Looking down Bassenthwaite Lake in the direction of Derwentwater. A gently rising path, before a sharp increase via a stone staircase to a low summit, overlooking Buttermere and Crummock water, with Loweswater also visible. A moody looking Derwentwater and a familiar skyline, with a comparison of the water level at the same time last year. My main companions for the trip (well is it a watch forum), although I also ended up taking the C12 Ti. Neil

Not my pic, but this one made me smile.
Pic apparently taken 10 June, on main tourist path, still about 150-175 metres from the summit.

Walked from the harbour in Polruan, Cornwall to the top of the hill and back down again, today.

I grew up very close to there, I know the area well.

Re: Pics from the walkers
Last year on a glorious September day my son did Hellvellyn. He had a swim in Red Tarn on his way back to Patterdale, where we dropped him off and picked him up. His pictures.
(I didn't think this had posted successfully, as I kept getting errors, so that was a surprise . Another disappointing day's weather in Suffolk today, so nice to recall that holiday. Supposed to be ok tomorrow, so Southwold will be the destination.)

Re: Pics from the walkers
A stroll today around the Lost Gardens of Heligan, especially the Jungle, most of which was either downhill or uphill.

Ah the hanging gardens of Babylon, as we refer to Heligan.
We often visit when we are down that way.

Re: Pics from the walkers
Perambulations around an organised Jungle (apologies for the oxymoron) Rainforest and Mediterranean, that is the Eden Project created out of a worked out China Clay pit in the 1990s.
All very educational, but a bit preachie. I prefer the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
