Arrived home from a week in Spain- very close to the Algarve border. My first time in mainland Spain and absolutely loved it- hope I'm back again soon. This view inland after a walk along a (some 8km!) stretch of beach.

A walk up the 272 steps to the Batu caves in Kuala Lumpur. I must admit I was surprised to bump into a couple of members of the admin team halfway up. I didn’t ask for a selfie though, apparently they can get grumpy if you bother them while they’re eating…..

I’m still doing my morning walk before a day working from home. Today I heard some rustling in the bushes from an animal that sounded bigger than the usual squirrel. Then to my surprise out jumped a couple of deer. Only managed to photo one of them as one look at me and they quickly ran off.

Also - if I had £30,000 I’d have a beach hut. My idea of a wee bit of heaven

Ahhh... you’re not wrong
Still - space for an armchair and a dog bed. Squeeze in a flask of coffee.

I saw those beach huts when they were being installed a couple of years ago. I've generally been to Suffolk out of season, and it's been quiet along that bit. The beach cafe always seems to be open though, and the fresh cooked donuts are good..

@kiter65 @JAFO I get my car serviced at the Toyota dealership on London Road, they do it while I wait so if it’s a nice day I’ll grab breakfast and wander along the prom next to South Beach. There’s a café on London Road South run by an Albanian guy who does a cracking breakfast. Beach Café, it’s called.

We stay at Warners, Corton, and over a few breaks we've done a lot of the coast southwards to Southwold, Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, and numerous other places as well. The church at Blythburgh was worth a look. This is at Thorpeness, near Aldeburgh.

There's a very good golf course below that building and a decent hotel on-site if anybody is looking for a location for a golf break.
