Not posted in this thread for a while as my weekly walks have tended to take in much the same routes as I’ve already posted. However while on Norland moor this morning I took this of the carpet of moorland heather in full bloom.

It’s nearly time for this sign to be folded away again. It’s opened every spring and stays open until autumn arrives.
However I’ve been walking and running along this road for years and have never seen a giant mutant toad, so I’m not sure what the warning sign is for other than to scaremonger.

Walked to a vantage point for watching a few seconds of the tour of Britain, and one of the photo burst had Julian Alaphilippe closely followed by team mate Mark Cavendish
