One big GTG ** MORE INFO NEEDED**
Re: One big GTG ** MORE INFO NEEDED**
That's a lot of people, really hope I can make it, will all depend on whether I am away working at the time.. Andy have you any particular time of year in mind?
Would probably have to get the train to wherever it was so I am easy.. London may be easy just as a thought because so many train lines end up there

Re: One big GTG ** MORE INFO NEEDED**
There's no way it will be this year now...and i'm guessing January won't be too popular so probably anytime after that. I will (eventually) propose some dates for people to look at.
It is a long list of people but it will shorten quickly as it's inevitable that the dates won't suit everyone. Then you will get the maybes, then you will get the last minute cancellations etc. Probably end up being half a dozen saddos in the corner of a pub somewhere.

I like the idea of being included as one of the 'saddos'. Great conversation and beer what's not to look forward to.Kip wrote:Isn't this usually the case?village wrote:Probably end up being half a dozen saddos in the corner of a pub somewhere.

I have no problem with this at all, I like being a saddo, I feel it entitles me to own geeky technology and lots of watches

One big GTG ** MORE INFO NEEDED**
I am sure we could fit a quick one in before Chrimbo!
Early December, first or second weekend, maybe a Sunday lunch, Oxford, London or Winchester. Those who can come do those that can't we do a bigger meet in the New year!
What do you think?

Re: One big GTG ** MORE INFO NEEDED**
Quiz question: there is one watch in that photo that two of the people in it have owned. Any ideas?
