Good for you and Well done Scooter.

Weddings are all about the bride and bridegroom and should bring families together no matter the history. I am really pleased that you have been able to rebuild bridges with your lovely family. Enjoy spoiling those grand kids!

Cheers and good health

Scooter, what an incredibly moving post with pictures that I would never have expected to seen on a forum like this. It is nice to hear you had a good day and you were happy to share a very personal experience with us all.

Thanks for sharing something so intensely personal. It was wonderful that you were able to be with your daughter on her special day; and for you to be able to speak so simply and eloquently will be something that I am sure she will treasure the rest of her life. As a father who one day will give his daughter away (she still lives at home with my wife and I), I can imagine how emotional it was for all concerned. Glad you were able to experience a joyful time.

Congratulations scooter, it looks and sounds like you had a fantastic day.
I'm realy glad for you that you managed to reconnect with your daughter, I have a good friend that is going through a very messy divorce and his soon to be ex wife is using and poisoning there children against him which is very unpleasant to witness.

All the best to you mate, and I hope you get to have a great future with your daughter(s)

Scoot,
Wonderful news and even better pics!

There was a tear in my eye too, i'm sure there are other estranged fathers on here that would admit to it too!

PS What watch is the groom wearing?

Thanks to you all.

Your words are very much appreciated.

I was pleased to be able to share my day of joy in some small way with a group of people, some met, most not, who through this Internet Forum have become chums.

@ Rob - Like most youngsters these days there was not a watch to be seen. I stuck with my CW Mark II Aviator though

:)
