Nothing to do with what you're searching for. Google Ads are based on your browsing history in conjunction with companies that pay for ads. You've been on the CWL website so you get to see their ads.

I thought so. Just based on Google search history and who pays Google for ads.

It happens to me too. It amazes me how technology works. Whenever I start getting ads I don't like, I go back to the CWL website a couple of times and problem is solved.

Serious question... I use Chrome and added the "adblocker plus" extension to remove all the unwanted ads. Can you Apple guys do that, or something similar?

Yes, everything's gone with Adblocker. Somehow the the CW one had creeped up earlier, then I disabled it for a while and all three showed up. Now there's no ads on that page (Safari/Mac).downer wrote:Serious question... I use Chrome and added the "adblocker plus" extension to remove all the unwanted ads. Here is one way the technology could be working underneath (for Google) - collaborative filtering. I know that Netflix/Amazon do this when recommending stuff.Kip wrote:It happens to me too.
