Lionel Messi joins the world of Audemars Piguet and its 135 years of history. Understandably proud to be welcoming him, Audemars Piguet CEO Philippe Merk salutes the arrival of this exceptional personality who has successively overcome life’s various trials to reach the peak of his art.

An Argentinian, playing for a Spanish footy team, signing for a Swiss watch brand is highlighted on an English watchmakers forum by a Chinese member - nothing if not multicultural

Football is 'art'?
Well there's a good reason not to buy a watch...

Hello Yuki
Did you get this from AP's Website?
http://www.audemarspiguet.com/www08/en/ ... _messi.php
or from Europa Star?
http://europastar.com/news/1004082488-l ... emars.html
or from one of the many other sites that has covered this?
I hope you are enjoying your explosion onto the web.

Why were you banned from Orientalwatchsite?
http://www.orientalwatchsite.com/forum/ ... -yuki1002/
I got some Google returns from WUS too but all record of you seems to have been erased. Why would that be?
Please do not take this personally but I just used the "add foe" feature for the first time. Bye.

Re: news:Lionel Messi, the new Audemars Piguet icon
actually I would say football as indeed most sports can achieve the status of 'art' when practiced by their most exceptional practitioners....in the field of football, say Zidane,Maradona, Best ,and yes today ,Messi. (not too many english footie artists though...)
