My watch box is full

Post by Jammy Devil »

Yesterday's new arrival has filled the only remaining hole in my watch box ! Here is a pic of the box and its contents. Note, not a diver in sight. Thanks to all the Forum members for sharing your knowledge and your encouragement over the last few months. I now have quite enough meds :silent:

Top row:
(1) Archimede "Klassic" brown dial
(2) C20 Lido - the "Jammy Devil" watch
(3) C9 2011 FLE #40/80
(3) C4 Peregrine (doesn't get much use)
(5) 9ct Garrard, vintage 1963/4

Bottom row:
(6) LIMES chrono/moonphase
(7) Stowa Antea
(8) Stowa 1938 Chronograph
(9) Sinn 358 Jubilaum
(10) 9ct Smiths, vintage 1950s (this used to be my daily beater, now having a rest!)

I do like your collection, no divers is that because you do not like them? I am not a fan of 'divers' and really cannot see me getting one.

That's a lovely looking collection. From the image, the odd one out looks like the C4 Peregrine, which doesn't seem to have a consistent style to the others. Is this why it doesn't get much use anymore?

Now...i wonder which style of watch you favour
Some lovely examples there.
I would say that it's time to sell the Peregrine and free up a space!

Lovely collection J.D

And if the C4 is not getting worn, you could maybe flip it for diver.
The box may be full but you have a wrist spare so 11 is allowed.

Lovely collection. The Sinn is the stand out watch IMO. :)

Yep, a v nice collection there. I agree with a few others that a substitute for the C4 might be on the cards.

Excellent collection JD. The Sinn does stand out but I reckon the new Stowa is the best of the collection.

Illa est collectio optima, Diabole Felix!
Really nice, mate, congrats!
If you ever decide you don't want the Smiths, please PM me before you do owt else - I'm on the lookout for a '50s deluxe!
Divers - I didn't used to like them, but I do now have two colourful ones, purely for holidays you understand (and the odd weekend and "Friday Fun Watch!) :D
