Movember

Post by jimbo »

Hi Guys/Blokes/Bruces............(depending on where in the world you live!)

This month is "Movember" where twits like me grow a "tashe" in aid of Prostate cancer...sadly a cancer many of us will attract over our latter years, many of us will die from it.

The funding for this cancer research is poor owing to the fact it is not "cool" to talk about "Prostate " problems.

If you are having difficulty having a "wee", getting up 2/3 times a night and then only having a "trickle", or for that matter even during the day going often but there is "No Power"...........THEN GET TO YOUR GP/DOCTOR ASAP........

IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE !

Anyway I am growing a tashe to help raise money at the expense of me looking like a **** with fungus on my top lip. You can donate as little or as much as you like to http://mobro.co/jamesstevens to help fight this disease.........

but better than that, help yourself, if you have any problems see your DOC....the earlier the better, my father did, and 10 years later on he is alive, my father in law didn't, and died......slowly.....over a 5 year fight.....at 62

cheers Jimbo

PS a photo of my efforts will soon be posted on the page of mine at the above link, and unlike watch timings in the accuracy challenge be updated every week end !

Decided to do the same myself. It helped that I had a bit of a wobble and so haven't shaved at all since last Monday so growing the full set for the month. Doubt I'll raise much cash but I will donate whatever to the cause.

Looking good, although does look like an audition for Crimewatch :D
I'm sure I'm not the first to mention that 8)

Also saw Jenson Button's efforts on the GP coverage.

Ok folks,

a further update on the face fuze, it is driving me nuts, and still 9ish days to go before it comes off. if you want to donate to the face fungus cause of men's health, please do, even if it's only a £ or a US $ or Aussie $, Swiss F

cheers jimbo............the hat is there to disguise
