Great move Ferg, the white with black stripes is, IMO, the best combination on the modern Mini. We have had our '07 R52 Cooper in white with black stripes for 10 years and 80,000 miles and it still drives like new and makes us smile every time the sun comes out.

It has spent the last few winters tucked up in the garage with the intention of selling it come spring / early summer but then when the time comes its a case of ' lets just keep it for another summer!'

I haven't driven the latest convertible ( I daren't let SWMBO any where near a show room for fear of coming home a number of thousand pounds poorer ) but if ours is anything to go by a wind deflector for above the rear 'seats' makes them more comfortable on cooler days and extends the roof down season.

Enjoy and long may the fine weather prevail for you 8) .

Really delighted for Kevin, it's a fantastic MINI. Dark Silver is the colour of it if any one wondered.

Cheers Paul, appreciate your comments mate.
You are correct regarding the wind deflector, it's an essential bit of kit and takes away 95% of the buffeting.
Good to hear you still have the R52, they are a great car.

Loving both these cars. I bet they're great fun? Ferg, as others have said, that colour combo with those wheels looks superb and Kevin, what a little corker! It looks in fantastic condition! Enjoy!!

I do have three white dial watches, the C65 SWS MK1, the Jumping Hour and the C9 5 Day COSC 40mm.
So either of these, probably the C65 MK1. I may put it on a black strap ;)
