Looking for a forum-moderator
I am looking for a forum-moderator, someone who can check the forum now and then when I am on vacation for example. It will be an easy job, it is not too busy on this forum.
Maybe one of the frequent visitors is interested in the job? If so, let me know!!
Hans.

That would be Joe, right?
FWIW: as a forum participant, he has MY support. He's way better as a moderator than I would be!

Hey, I CAN read you know !?!
And just an FYI, rarely is anything ever my fault...really!
HA HA HA
Actually, I have a 'stupid thing I did' story to tell you.
I got an advertising email from CW a week or so ago. It was one of those, CW is having a sale kind of things. The email had my email address in it (of course or I wouldn't have been reading it), but in the salutation of the email, it said "Dear Joseph Klsrjygeuirth". Klsrjygeuirth is clearly not my last name. I have been critical of CW's web site guys and I thought, well, his advertising email guys apparently have some bad data, so I sent Chris an email letting him know. I am sure glad I was polite about it.
So, Chris responds to me to explain the matter. It turns out (Chris had to remind me) that when I committed to buying either the Forum LE or the white Aviator I had to fill out some data. For the ship to person's name, I put my real name, Joseph Rattz. But for the bill to person's name, I put Joseph Klsrjygeuirth as a joke. You know, send the watch to me, but send the bill to someone else. Chris got the joke when he saw it, but didn't do anything about it. The person logging the order apparently didn't detect it as a joke and actually entered it. So, now, at least in some database, I am Joseph Klsrjygeuirth! How funny is that? I got tricked by my own joke.
Hey, if there really is a Joseph Klsrjygeuirth, I guess I am guilty of identity theft.

I am guesssing that if you are able to spell "Klsrjygeuirth" consistently for 5 consecutive times in one post, you are capable of more than just reading -- either you are capable of recognising character patterns, or you are capable of using the copy/paste routine.joerattz wrote:Hey, I CAN read you know !?!
In your case, my guess is you can do both

Sadly, it was copy/paste. My character pattern recognition is no better than, no better...oh yeah, no better than my memory.peterh wrote:I am guesssing that if you are able to spell "Klsrjygeuirth" consistently for 5 consecutive times in one post, you are capable of more than just reading -- either you are capable of recognising character patterns, or you are capable of using the copy/paste routine.joerattz wrote:Hey, I CAN read you know !?!
