A lovely and very moving tribute Kip. Very sorry to hear of your loss.

And I echo your comment about taking in a rescue cat or dog.

Thank you all so much for your condolences, thoughts and prayers. I am unable to put into words what this means to me.
My dear wife and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It has helped us get through today more than you will ever know.

A special Thank You to Jag for posting "The Rainboow Bridge". We have read this many times before, but it helps so much to read it again.

As you can imagine it has been a bit of a tough day. The dynamic in the house has been completely changed. Our three remaining girls are in mourning as well, and the house just seems so quiet. We shall get through this as we always do, with the help of friends like I have here, but it will take some time.

Thank you all. We do greatly appreciate the support.
Kip

Kip - absolutely saddened to hear of Kimba's passing. You gave her a fabulous home and she reciprocated in kind with her special place in your lives. Thinking of you and your wife.
