Sean Henry’s Seated Figure, a three-metre-tall painted bronze sculpture of an anonymous man sitting on a traditional three-legged travelling stool, Castleton Rigg in the North York Moors. The sculpture proved “too popular” and has now been moved to The Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I was lucky to have seen and photograph this fabulous sculpture in October 2017.

Im loving this thread, I've just been browsing and added more thanks than on any thread ever. Some of the pics are stunning, special shout out to Steve and Richard for their skills but such a wide range of quality images from many members. Would make a great album!

Couldn't agree more. It's amazing how a nice photo lifts the spirits as well as reminding you what a wonderful place the world is.

This one is nearly 20 years old, but it’s a real favourite. I was staying on Fuerteventura and the Calima was blowing - a hot desert wind from the Sahara that blows sand over and turns the sky pink during the day and orange at sunset. I was out for a walk before dinner and waited for the sun to go down over the hill. The road was a couple of miles away from the glide path into the airport, and I just happened to catch an inbound. Plus that little cloud on the right. Just a question of being in the right place at the right time.
