Lucy visited today. She found the best seat in the house without us noticing. :D

A visit to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre; nearly 16 years since I was last there.

Bremont ALT1-ZT BL for a day out at Hertfordshire Zoo and World of Dinosaurs, with my partner and her 9yo Grandson.

An interesting and fun day, with a poignant message to the Skeleton lion sculpture.

Interesting, there is a dinosaur park in Ogden, Utah, USA that almost looks the same as these pictures.

I didn't know there was a golf course in Thorpeness. It provides a nice view of the house in the clouds. So many lovely places to visit along that Suffolk coast, isn't there? :D

A lovely area, although I mostly explored the Gorse bushes on the golf course, across 2 days.

I hope you enjoyed it Steve. When we played there I think we lost about 20 balls between the 8 of us on the 1st day. Chatting to a group of lady golfers at the 1st tee on the 2nd morning they hadn't lost a single ball between 12 of them

Maybe a bit of a generalisation but probably a summary of the difference between male and female golfers. :)

@nbg Neil that’s a substantial sized Mayfly !! It’s been great fly fishing here since early March which annually curtails my forum reading and posting opportunities.
Run off from the mountain snowpack typically peaks the third week of June. After that it’s mayfly central here until October !!

^ Wow, I hope the weather's that good when I'm in Scotland in a couple of weeks !

Course looks great - maybe give some comments in the Golf Topic if you'd be so kind?

EDIT - I was aware of this venue but just looked at the website. Stunning in every way, it has to go onto my list.

Took the day off last Friday to head over to Hampton Beach for the yearly sand sculpture contest. It is pretty amazing to see the detail these folks get from a pile of sand.
