Security alert on a JET2 flight from Turkey to Manchester. Diverted to Standsted with a complimentary air-to-air missile escort courtesy of the RAF.

Breitling Navitimer for me…the slide rule comes in handy when I’m working my ground speed out…🤷🏼🙈

That southwesterly path from Finchingfield: would you say there's an element of dawdling going on?

At a guess i'd say thats the pattern they fly when escorting another plane.
