Just returned from a walking holiday. A week in the Highlands and a week in the Lake District.
Was going to take four watches. Explorer, Explorer 2 polar, C63 LE Jura green and C63GMT blue.
Ended up taking six. Added the C63 LE Acer red and Standard Speedmaster at the last minute.

Do you always wear one going up a hill and one coming down? Or were you just pulling our legs with your pics?!
Re: How many watches do you take on holiday?
Doesn’t everyone?

I did on the recent occasions, that I posted one in the non CW of the day and one in the CW of the day, an hour or so apart. However I just wanted a few pics of the CWs taken on mountains.

Normally one stays on all the time that I am out, but I do tend to change watches in the evening.

If ever I get to go on holiday....
I'm with @AVO and by the same reasoning would take my C63 GMT - what more would you need? Stylish, versatile and on my wrist.
On holiday, simplicity is good. From memory.

Re: How many watches do you take on holiday?
I took 4 with me on my two week holiday to the UK, just home today.
One was specifically to wear at Goodwood Revival so really three watches for the two weeks and yes I could probably have gotten anyway with one less or even two less but I enjoyed wearing them and that's what counts.

Going to New York for the week and instead of bringing 2 or 3 watches, I am going to take 1 with 3 different straps.

I'm away for 2 weeks from Saturday and after debating getting a GMT but not I've decided to go with my Omega AT and likely the moonswatch.

Likewise Robin.

I'm off to the Costa del Sol on Wednesday for a week, and will be taking one watch (a diver as I intend to wear it full time including when swimming) with bracelet and three straps (rubber, leather & NATO).

Re: How many watches do you take on holiday?
I used to travel extensively as part of my work and down time was brief. I got used to traveling with 2-3 watches: work, dress, and play. Now that I’ve been home for quite some time and not having to go to an office I change up watches sometimes more than once in a day. When I go away for a holiday, I still take usually 2, and sometimes 3, watches with me. As to which ones, I mix it up. I still prefer dress watches over all others, so though it may be an extended play time away, I’ll still have on something fancy because I enjoy it.
