I started with watches on my right, but my mother told me that because I was right-handed that the watch would end up getting more scuffs. I switched to my left and have not changed back since. It does make sense for me. I am in college, and I take a lot of notes. My poor watches would always be getting scratched upon the binders if I wore it on my right. I could take notes with a laptop, but some professors do not allow it.

I also like it crystal up and well fit. I have one watch that is loose, but it has sharper edges on a metal bracelet that would dig into my hand if it were not loose.

If someone wore a watch on both wrists now that would be weird. Imagine the amount of questions that person would get. Friend says, "Why are you wearing two watches?" Man replies, "Well my wife told me I had to wear each of my watches for one day this month and the ones that were not worn must go. So, I am doing the only logical thing. Wearing two watches every day."

I used to wear my watch downside up, but as I got older, I don't know, convention sort of struck, and now I wear it upside up. But, in all honesty, downside up was far more comfortable.....ooh, and as a leftist, I too wear it on my right wrist....saves having to scratch the thing everytime I write, and its a weight saved.
