Help. Cracker Toy

Post by JAFO »

Help. We had this in thing in a cracker. .
They were good crackers. I got a bottle stopper, my son got a small hip flask.

My wife got this, which has a spring loaded base. It came with the white cap stuck in the base, but it comes out. The arms of the base fold over to make a sort of stand, but I've no idea what it does. The black base is spring loaded with quite a powerful spring.

Anybody?

I think I've worked it out. It's like a sprung bottle stopper. See picture 3

Correct. I always keep a couple in the kitchen at home and one in our staying away kit, together with a corkscrew, ice jacket and chef’s knife.

A paper clip is useful. I can’t think of any use for a gadget to reseal a wine bottle……

Well there is always someone who despite being told by their significant other, that enough is enough, insists on opening just one more bottle :)
